Over his 46 year career in the utility industry, Derrell started as a journeyman lineman for Houston Lighting & Power & then Shell Oil. Working hard, Derrell became the Vice President for over 20 years of Digco/North Houston Pole Line Corporation. He was part owner before they sold and the company went public in 2000. His background and experience gives him a strong foundation to work with budgets, conflict resolution, storm resolution and assessing needs of our community.
Derrell retired at the end of 2018 and will continue to work for the citizens of Pearland with the same dedication and commitment.

Derrell also supports local organizations such as Adult Reading Center, Pearland ISD Education Foundation, NBCEA, Greater Pearland Archery Club, Pearland Neighborhood Center, Rotary Club of Pearland, Pearland Chamber of Commerce, Pearland Day in Austin, Mike Ogden Memorial Golf Tournament, Counseling Connections for Change, Pearland Lions Club, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Shadycrest PTA.
Derrell has been married to his wife, Patti Stowe Isenberg, for 43 years. They have lived in Pearland for over 20 years. Their children Dena Isenberg Hanks and her husband, Matt Hanks and Travis Isenberg and his wife, Elsa Cortez Isenberg have made their homes in Pearland as well. Derrell loves spending time with his family (especially his grandson, Walker). Whether it is a lake vacation, hunting/fishing trip, movie time, playing golf or family meal after church, family time is everything. It is his driving factor to leave a strong Pearland for our future generations.
